Kristin Elder is a New Mexico based artist who works in watercolor. When she was two and a half she drew her first picture, a (rather snarled) robin; and her paintings are still filled with birds, and other beasts too, who act out little dramas and mysterious tableaus. Kristin received her formal education at Union College in Lincoln, NE. She graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in studio art and an A.S. in graphic design.
